Leighton Giles celebrated her 6th birthday party this month by asking her guests to bring donations for Court Appointed Juvenile Advocates (CAJA) of Marshall County rather than birthday gifts for her. Leighton’s mom said that she gave her daughter a few charities to choose from, but Leighton chose CAJA of Marshall County. When asked “what made you choose CAJA?”, Leighton said “I wanted to help the children!”. Among the donations made to CAJA were art supplies, books and crafts as well as a monetary gift. Leighton is a student at Boaz Elementary School. She is the daughter of Katie and Andrew Giles of Boaz. CAJA of Marshall County is a non-profit organization that advocates for abused/neglected children in Marshall County. CAJA is grateful for Leighton’s generosity.
